road trippin' - normandie........................................

so my parents and i decided to tak a road trip the frist two days they were here. i finally got to drive after like three months of just walking and riding and i drove for almosy two days striaght!! we couldn't rent a car in paris because they were all rented for christmas but after may hours on the internet i got us train tickets to rouen where we picked up our brand new french car- a ford focus. ok so maybe we don't get the entire french experience but hey, it was a good car nonehteless. we drove to mont st michel and the beaches of normandie then spent the night in honfleur, a surprisingly cool old port town next to the pont de normandie, a huge modern bridge. the next day we drove to dieppe to have christmas eve lunch with anne gaelle's parents and all the poly kids who were visiting from various countries (6 people i think) then returned the car to rouen and after a quick tour of the old medievel center (an hour of running basically) we hopped on a train back to paris. anyone recognize the cathedral??? think famous dutch impressionist painter.... ok, leave me an answer and maybe you will get some brownie points or something. all in all, an awesome two days with the 'rents, as monica would say.
